Roofing

Slate, tile, lead and flat roofs, done properly.

Overview

From single dormer repairs to full re-roofs of listed properties, delivered with proper scaffolding, protection and traditional craft.

Most roof problems are lead problems. Or eaves problems. Or a nailed slate that should have been hooked. We diagnose properly, specify properly and leave a roof that will not need us back for a generation.

Answers

What clients ask.

Do we need to move out?

No. Roof works do not stop the house functioning. Scaffold and dust protection are managed carefully.

Will you match our slate?

Where a listed building requires like-for-like, we source matching salvaged slate. Otherwise we specify Welsh.

How long does a lead flashing last?

Properly dressed Code 5 or 6, expect 60 to 100 years.
